Your search for a web developer has led you here.
You decided it was time for a website. You googled, talked to a friend, or saw one of my posts. Whatever you did, it has landed you right here. Whether you're thinking about your very first website, or replacing an older one, let's make it happen!
I'm a web developer based in Washington D.C. I focus on working with small businesses & business professionals just like you to create a website that matches your vision.
Do you need a custom website built from scratch? I use bootstrap's framework to make mobile-friendly, responsive websites. Need a template customized? I've got you covered with changes to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery on popular template services like WordPress, SquareSpace, and Shopify.
My clients come from different backgrounds and professions, but they know what they want and value passion and hard work.
Whether you're a real estate agent, a home baker, or a startup, you have to care about what you do. If you put as much time and energy into your career as possible, you deserve a website that shows that. From a one person team to a large organization, virtually all businesses need a website. I've heard all the web developer horror stories: sales teams outsourcing development work to cheap, unskilled developers, incredibly unresponsive web developers, and developers overcharging and then under-delivering.
All of my clients can schedule face-to-face meetings with me in the greater Washington DC Metro area. They know they can count on me, whether it's a late night emergency phone call, or making changes to their websites on the fly during meetings. I don't want to just make you a website; I want to make you a website you can actually manage yourself. Before the websites go live, I offer to teach my clients how to use their chosen platforms (WordPress, SquareSpace, Shopify, etc.). When you opt for a tinyVOID website, you get...
Complete transparency from the start. Beginning with a proposal that outlines the steps and cost of the project, you can be confident about where in the development process your website is and how much you'll have to pay for it. Once you accept the proposal, you'll provide your contract or I'll provide mine (based on the 'Contract Killer' contract on GitHub). Feedback and revision rounds are an important part of bringing your vision to reality. Knowing what you want and how to communicate that effectively helps speed up the process. My best clients are always surprised by how painlessly things can move along.
Don't know whether you need a custom or template website?
Most businesses these days need to have a web presence. How that business is presented on the web is very important. The website has to look and work consistently across all kinds of devices, from desktops to tablets to smartphones. The solution-at-large for this reality is mostly to use template platforms (some listed below). Templates ensure a consistency in style and functionality, while cutting down on development time. In most cases, my clients opt for template platforms. If you need lots of custom functionality, however, I provide custom website services as well. An example for a custom website is a browser game I created, ChromaFiend (now offline). Whichever route you choose to go, I'm right there with you.
